Tsukayama Yotaro Profile : Samurai X

Yutaro is a young boy that inherited a HUGE fortune from his parents. His parents had died when he was younger. He appears when Dr. Genzai's sister (she looks just like his brother) is working for Yutaro.

Yutaro lived in a wealthy mansion on a hill, who was practically served and waited on everyday. He wanted to learn swordsmanship since his father was deemed as an excellent fighter. He sees Kenshin with a sword and demands lessons from him. But Kenshin refuses, and Yutaro flies off the handle and says negative things about him. As time went by he found a man, Rijuta, that uses a powerful sword. Yutaro asks for Rijuta to teach him the sword techniques.

Later, Rijuta was planning an attack on the Meiji Government and asked the Battousai for help. When Kenshin said, "No", Rijuta ordered his followers to "Kill Him!" Well, Yutaro was spying (aye vey....talk about eavesdropping) and while Kenshin and the other men were fighting, one of Rijuta's men charged at Kenshin and Kenshin got the weapon out of the mans hand, which hit Yutaro in the head, and he lost his balance (they were at a very steep cliff, with the ocean below them). Yutaro fell in and Kenshin was a in a fiery rage, defeated the men, and dove into the sea to rescue Yutaro.

The next morning, Kaoru wonders why Kenshin hasn't returned and Megumi suddenly sees Kenshin with Yutaro in his arms, unconscious, with both of them soaking wet. Yutaro remembers in a dream that Kenshin saved him. He thanks Kenshin (after he recovered) but still thinks that Rijuta is a good man (because Kenshin, Sano, Kao, and Yahiko said, "Rijuta is very dangerous! Stay away from him!").

At the mansion, Rijuta is planning an attack on the police that know he is planning to overthrow the government. Yutaro hears the news and rushes over. Kenshin learns of this and follows Yutaro to the woods, where Rijuta is actually at. Rijuta said he'd defeat Kenshin, but Yutaro tried to stop him. Well, Kao, Yahiko and Sano told him he wouldn't listen anyways, and Yutaro said that they're wrong. Well, THEY were right. Rijuta was fed up with this nonsense and detached Yutaro's veins and muscles in his right arm. Yutaro was in shock. Rijuta laughed at him and said he'll die right now. Kenshin got up with those RAGING eyes and said he'd defeat Rijuta for manipulating an innocent boy's heart. Yutaro passes out because of the pain and his humiliation. In the end, Kenshin defeats Rijuta. Megumi says Yutaro probably can't learn swordsmanship from this incident. Yutaro then decides to go off and live in Germany with his uncle.

He appears later in Part 3, with the Black Knights who are after the Divine Elixir.

Overall, Yutaro seems to be spoiled quite a bit, but, he does show care for people and sometimes he doesn't think of his own life in a life or death situation.

Hajime Saito is very tall and thin, and is a man who fights for peace, kills the evil, and lives for justice. He often speaks his mind, hence people often find him annoying and irritating. Because he was part of the Shinsengumi, he lived by the words "Aku Soku Zan". Saitou is the cold Shinsengumi member. He took a job as a police officer after the Revolution, during which he fought against Battisai. He hates evil, hence his constant saying of Aku soku zan.

Enishi Yukhishiro was Born in May of 1855, Enishi was the younger brother of kenshins late wife,Tomoe, and therefore the brother in law of Kenshin . Enishi's mother died giving birth to him, which left Tomoe as the motherly role in his life. He loved his sister greatly, and was devastated when she accidently died at Kenshin's hands. Because of this, Enishi has hated Kenshi with an almost inhuman passion ever since Tomoes death, though he did hold great animosity for him even before then. In his eyes, Kenshin murdered Tomoe intentionally, not on accident. Because of his rage and extreme emotional pain, his hair turned white and his eyes turquoise. After the end of the Bakumatsu, Enishi left the now changed Japan for Shanghai, China.

Enishi's arrival in China was not an easy one, he frequently found himself stricken with disease, and on the border of death. However a wealthy Japanese family took Enishi in and nursed him back to health. Once he was healthy again, Enishi murdered the family in cold blood, and robbed them of any valuables. While looting, he came across a book discussing sword arts, which laid the foundation for him to learn Wattojutsu, a combination of both Japanese and Chinese sword arts.At some time, he established connections with the Chinese Mafia, and furthered his wealth. It was Enishi who sold Makoto Shishio the Rengoku class battleship.

After spending over a decade in China, Enishi decided to return to Japan, and began his revenge on Kenshin. He recruited the help of those who had similar grudges against Kenshin : Banjin, Hyouko, Gein, Kujiranami, and Mumyoi, and sets in motions the plans to avenge the death of his sister, and his own torment. During Enishi and Kenshin's first battle at the Kamiya Dojo, Enishi was able to counter the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu with his own Zetsugi (Ultimate Attack) and defeat Kenshin . Afterwards, he announced the true intention of his revenge, to take the person Kenshin holds dearest away from him. Kenshin and company were separated by a smoke cloud caused by Gein. Enishi came across Kaoru , and when she was next seen, she had Enishi's sword through her body and a cross scar resembling Kenshins. Seeing Kaoru dead, Kenshin ost all will to live, and went into a state of recluse, thus completing Enishi's plans for revenge.

Enishi is definitely insane, but is quite strategic, intelligent, sadistic, and very mysterious. Persistence is one of his greatest strengths, and he is a scheming genius. He is also short tempered, unstable, clever, ruthless, vengeful, and quick to judge. For transportation methods, he uses a hot air balloon. To remember his dead sister better, whom he referred to as Nee-san, he keeps her diary with him at all times and often reads it
